THY Turkish Airlines is the flag carrier of Turkey. It flies to 237 destinations with 232 aircraft. The airline commenced operations on 20 May 1933. The airline's main hub is Istanbul Ataturk, it also has a smaller base in Esenboğa International Airport. It is largest airline in Turkey with it's fleet size, and passenger numbers.
