Virgin Atlantic Little Red is Virgin Atlantic's UK Domestic Airline. The airline was founded in 2013 and commenced operations on 31 March 2013. All flights are operated by Aer Lingus. There are Airbus A320 4 aircraft from the Aer Lingus fleet operating for this service. The airline have 4 bases at Aberdeen, Edinburgh, London Heathrow, Manchester. The main reason for the setting up of this aircraft was due to the closure of BMI. BMI used to operate UK domestic services to Heathrow which were all codeshared with a VS (Virgin Atlantic) flight number.

Whether Little Red will expand its UK Domestic operations to other Cities on the Island is unknown. Possible cities include, Cardiff, Belfast, Glasgow, Newcaslte etc. This partership between Aer Lingus & Virgin Atlantic is contracted for 3 years.
