Aer Lingus fly to Málaga from Cork daily April through to October, departing at an ideal time at 0700. I fly to Málaga every year on EI882, and only once it got delayed. Last year, the flight was airbourne 1 hour and we had to turn back with a sick passenger. When we landed at 0930, and we were left waiting on the aircraft for about 30 minutes. At 1000 we were then told the flight was delayed and we were to go into the terminal building. After another 30 minutes at 1030 an information announcement told us our flight was delayed until further notice and next info was in another 30 minutes at 1100. So finally at 1100, they're was an announcement, "This announcement for the passengers on the delayed Aer Lingus flight EI882 to Málaga could ye now come forth for boarding from departure gate number 2, Aer Lingus apologise for any innconvience cause, but they're is nothing we can do about it. Thank You for your excellent patience and we will make it you to ye on-board." We boarded the flight and took off at 1120, 4hrs 20mins late after been originally airbourne at 0655. Anyway we got FREE REFRESHMENTS, on-board, something we would not have got off  Ryanair. We landed in Málaga at 1430, 3hrs 40mins late. At least the sky was blue and it was 42 degrees celcius.
